MUSTAFI CONSENT TO ARSENAL MOVE

German football star Valencia Shkodran Mustafi has consented to a likely move to English Premier League giant Arsenal, according to reports from Sky Sports.

Arsenal have been on the hunt for prolific players in the new campaign. And have been linked with a lot of players. they lost the chance to sign others, but Sky Sports News reports that Mustafi has consented to joining his country national Mesut Ozil at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal manager is keen on landing a defender to partner the centre defence after Per Mertesacker suffered a long term injury and Gabriel ruled out for eight weeks. Laurent Koscielny would not be starting the league which opens this weekend, leaving the club stranded with no experienced options. The report say Mustafi agreed to the move to Arsenal though the player is yet to sign the agreement.

The 24-year old Germany international is valued around £30 million, but the Gunners would have no problem getting him at that price. Mustafi is still in training in Valencia, and Wenger is still focusing on a makeshift defence for their Premier League opener to Liverpool. Arsenal are billed to host Jurgen Klopp’s men on Sunday with English Under 21 stars Calum Chambers and Rob Holding likely to be in action. Nacho Monreal and Mattieu Debuchy have also played in centre back position in the past, with their experience giving them an edge but Wenger would have a tough choice to make. Mustafi used to play for Everton as a youngster before leaving to join Sampdoria. He played football at Sampdoria before moving to Valencia in the summer of 2014.

Arsenal stars have been pictured in training, preparing hard as Liverpool would not be an easy opponent considering their numerous signing and focus on the EPL, since they have no European distraction.
