BREMEN EYEING SUCCESSIVE LEAGUE WINS

Werder Bremen have their focus on getting a second successive win in the German Bundesliga ahead of the visit of Europa League holders Eintracht Frankfurt this weekend. Werder Bremen will play hosts to Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday evening.

Werder Bremen made it three games without defeat at the start of the current German Bundesliga season when they scored three times in the final minutes of their away game against Borussia Dortmund for a 3-2 win. The newly promoted team came from two goals down to secure the three points. Dortmund led 2-0 into the penultimate minute of the game thanks to the goals from German star Julian Brandt and Portuguese left-back Raphael Guerreiro either side of the half-time break. Lee Buchanan pulled one back for Bremen on 89 minutes before Nicklas Schmidt and Oliver Burke scored in stoppage time to hand the visitors a stunning win. All the three Bremen goalscorers came off the bench to make an impact in the game.
